WHO IS MMG – NORTH?
Originally founded in 1997, MMG covered only the states of Kansas and Missouri. However, since this time, the company has grown and surpassed these borders. While the MMG timeline spans more than 21 years, it is a simple tale with humble beginnings. The story of MMG begins with a man who evaluated and examined the industry and decided there was a better way to do things. He stopped using the line sheet as just a list of products and begun to view each line as the opportunity to develop a partnership.
From global manufacturers to small firms, he teamed up with the groups who could answer a few simple questions. Do you help our clients solve a problem? Are you unique? Can you be specified? He weeded through to find the best. This same process was used to hire a team. Geographically, MMG is one of the largest rep firms in the United States. Philosophically, we are the same small company Mark started 21 years ago.
Many rep firms fade away as the owner’s hair turns gray and the retirement years come along. MMG has a solid succession plan that is designed to keep the company operating using the same systems that have been proven successful since its founding.
